Riad Dar Dounia offers five air-conditioned suites with ensuite bathrooms, each available for individual booking or the entire Riad for exclusive use. The Riad features a large roof terrace with views of the Atlas Mountains, a spacious courtyard with shaded seating areas, and a cosy salon with a wood-burning stove.
Enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi and workspaces in each room.
Getting Here
We provide a pre-arranged shuttle service from the airport to simplify your arrival. Please request this service when booking and share your flight details with us.

A fusion of Moroccan, Arabian, and international influences. Our sharing concept focuses on local, seasonal, and sustainable produce. Dar Dounia’s dishes showcase the best of Morocco, combining traditional cooking methods with European influence and Mediterranean flair.
OUR BREAKFAST
Start your morning with a blend of Moroccan and European flavors. Our breakfast includes Moroccan breads and pancakes with jam, honey, and cheese, fresh fruit salad, croissants, coffee, tea, and freshly squeezed orange juice. You can also request yogurt, granola, or eggs to complete your meal.
Breakfast is served from 8:30 AM in summer and 9:00 AM in winter. For early departures, we’re happy to prepare a takeaway breakfast—just let us know the night before.
OUR DINNER
Experience a flavorful fusion of Moroccan and international cuisine at Dar Dounia. Our dinner menu offers a variety of traditional Moroccan dishes like chicken and beef tagines, couscous, and baked whole fish, complemented by seasonal vegetables and rice. Enjoy fresh salads, warm bread, and a selection of appetizers like harissa chickpea soup or briouats. For dessert, indulge in poached pears, crème brûlée, homemade ice cream, and more.
We also offer international options, including beef ribeye, baked fish, and seasonal risotto, with refreshing seasonal fruit and homemade sorbets to finish your meal.

Located in the heart of the oldest part of the Marrakech medina, Riad Dar Dounia, recently restored, is a luxurious and relaxing hideaway.
Dar Dounia preserves the architecture of a traditional
18th-century Moroccan building while incorporating modern amenities. The sense of history is further enhanced by the owners' collection of antiques, textiles, and art from different parts of the world, displayed throughout.
